Client written specifications or tailored by our
engineering staff to the Customer’s
specific needs. Our fabrication facility is able to
manufacture from a variety of materials each selected
to conform to the latest standards.
Foundation
As plant matures and maintenance increases it becomes
necessary and more cost effective to install new
or additional plant. The majority of older systems
are not ‘off the shelf’ products and
direct replacements are not always available. It
is therefore necessary to have a fabrication facility
that is flexible enough to undertake the construction
of these unique systems. For new control units the
Client is looking for value for money, reliability
and fit for purpose solutions manufactured to current
standards using the latest technology and using proven,
reliable components.
Support
SMS offers a full range of Products and Services in
support of its fabrication process. The cycle begins
with a full technical and commercial appraisal of
the Client’s requirements. This is translated
into s detailed proposal and fabrication plan. Upon
Client contract award, full quality, schedule and
purchasing plans are produced and implemented to
align all aspects of the process thus optimising
productivity and decreasing lead times. All fabrication
is covered by our BS EN ISO 9001 quality procedures
ensuring that Client expectations and requirements
are fulfilled.
