In support of the manufacturing facility all our site personnel are trained and equipped with the attributes to globally service all SMS Group Products and those of our competitors. This can be as part of a Client planned routine or as part of a bespoke health care package, designed and tailored to the Customers individual requirements. SMS provides instrument technicians and tube fitters to compliment project staff for ad hoc scopes of work, with the benefits of full operational support.

Foundation
Effective maintenance is a major contributing factor to system reliability and performance. It is a proven fact that a poorly maintained system will fail more regularly and that prevention is better than cure. As plant Operators diversify into multi-skilled roles and take on more peripheral activities specialist maintenance tends to be neglected. This can be a costly and time consuming mistake if maintenance becomes reactive rather than proactive.

Service
SMS is actively working with many major Operators as part of their planned, preventive maintenance routines. Our teams use the latest innovative products and solutions to reduce maintenance frequencies whilst attaining Client reliability and performance criteria. This is fully supported by our main and mobile facilities. The Service is transportable to any global location irrespective of environment and working conditions. Using remote data trending SMS is able to interpret real time system condition and predict failure. This allows proactive intervention prior to failure. Larger crews are available for specific activities including planned maintenance and plant shutdowns, which will increase productive activity.
