We have a comprehensive,
co-ordinated Health and Safety Policy, which is adopted
and implemented across the organisation.
Safety meetings take place on a monthly basis
to ensure all issues are addressed, and everyone
is encouraged to contribute and improve the safety
culture.
In the first few months of 2003 we have implemented
risk assessment training for all employees, assessment
for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 as well as waste management
programs.
Our 2002 annual safety performance was very positive.
We hit all our challenging targets, and incorporated
more ideas to make the workplace safe. Each employee
now has personal safety targets to achieve, in the
workshop and in the office.
The SMS safety statistics prove that our safety
culture is working, and that our measures we are
putting in place are proving effective. |
