Bladder accumulator & isolation control racks

The Bladder Accumulator System is designed to be installed on a fixed or floating production facility. With no electrical content, the Bladder Accumulator System may be used where the area is classified as a ‘Zone 0’ environment where hydrocarbon gases may be present. The Bladder Accumulator System is designed for operation with mineral oil based fluids, typically ‘Castrol Hyspin AWH-M 15’ or equivalent.

The accumulators provide a reasonable pump duty cycle and provide a store of fluid power to meet the peak demands of the system. Each accumulator has a double block and bleed safety valve and a burst-disc gas vent plug. The burst-disc will prevent over pressurisation in both the fluid and the gas in case of fire. The system isolation philosophy is unique in that a monitoring the integrity of the isolation ball valves is provided within the Accumulator Rack. Isolation and monitoring is controlled via one mimicked control face.

The system is deemed to be a NAS 1630 Class 6 system.

The Skid is of a 316L stainless steel construction designed in accordance with the static and dynamic stresses caused by the weight of the pump assembly. The structure is tested in accordance with LOLER specifications.

The enclosure is designed within integral drip tray.
